Christie
Dog grooming
Full grooms in Germantown, one dog at a time, with Christie at the table and a soft spot for doodles and fluffy coats.
Mats start at the collar and harness line
Most dog grooming trouble starts in the same few spots. Mats form behind the ears, under the collar, along the harness line and down the backs of the legs, and they tighten every time the coat gets wet. Long nails are the other quiet problem, because they change how a dog stands and walks.
A brush that only skims the top misses all of it. One review mentions that Christie keeps a full report for owners on how the dog did and whether anything was out of the ordinary.

One dog at a time, at its own pace
Christie spent many years in a big box corporate environment before opening her own salon in her home town of Germantown. What she took from it was the need for a place that looks at each pet's individual needs instead of rushing through as many pets as possible. That is how the table runs here.
Comfort and safety come first, for pets of all ages. One reviewer, CJ, wrote that the team "went at Koda's pace and snuggled her and kept her as comfortable as possible". Fluffy coats and doodles are Christie's soft spot, and she is the salon's resident Doodle Queen.
A full report when you pick up
When the groom is done, you hear how it went. Becca Shortreed brings her goldendoodle, Louie, to Christie, and she wrote that she appreciates "a full report on how he did and if anything was out of the ordinary". Anything worth knowing gets passed along at the door.
Between visits, a few minutes of brushing along the collar, behind the ears and down the legs keeps small tangles from turning into mats. Rebooking is a call or text away, Tuesday to Saturday, 9 AM to 3 PM, by appointment.
